The Ra Twisty flashlight is an ultra-rugged ultra-reliable multi-brightness pocket flashlight built for the extreme flashlight user.  We called it the Twisty because the 3 brightness settings are just a twist of the battery compartment apart.  This is the smallest, brightest and most rugged flashlight available.  The light is so small you can carry it with you wherever you go.  The medium brightness provides plenty of light for most tasks and provides exceptionally long run times.

All Ra Twisty flashlights provide the following common features:

• 3 brightness settings are available with a simple twist of the battery compartment.  Clockwise for brighter, counter clockwise for dimmer and off.  The flashlights will run continuously for 1 hour on high, 8 hours on medium and a couple of days on low.
• The brightness levels are fully regulated for constant brightness throughout the life of the battery.  We provide the most efficient electronics and electrical path in its class.
• Fully potted electronics provide the ultimate in reliability under extreme conditions.  The electronics are fully protected against shock and water.
• The anti-shock battery compartment minimizes battery damage under extreme abuse and prevents electrical disconnect.
• The flashlight gracefully steps down to lower brightness levels to extend dying batteries and warns you when the battery needs changing.
• The ultra clear anti-reflective glass lens provides the maximum light output and improved scratch resistance.  The extra thick lens is shock mounted for high reliability.
• The flashlight is machined from aerospace aluminum and protected with a military black hard anodize finish.  The crenelated stainless steel bezel provides impressive lens protection.  Large robust threads are used throughout.
• Designed for use with both regular lithium batteries and rechargeable Li-ion batteries.  Protects rechargeable batteries from over-discharge.  Will not accidentally activate battery protection circuits.
• Full thermal management keeps the LED and the flashlight at safe and efficient temperatures
• Reverse battery protection without diode power penalty

How tough is the Ra Twisty?

This production Ra Twisty was dropped repeatedly from a height exceeding 6 meters (20 feet) on to concrete, pavement and rocks. After over 20 drops, the light was repeatedly thrown at concrete, pavement and rocks. The light still functions normally. The glass lens did not break even with this severe punishment.
